The sand is free of organic impurities and bacteria, preventing cloudiness and unpleasant odors. It also acts as an excellent natural filter.

Quartz does not alter the hardness or acidity (pH) of water. This allows it to be used even for the most demanding fish species. The grains are not sharp, making them ideal for bottom-dwelling fish.

Quartz sand prevents waterlogging and provides oxygen to plant roots.

It is recommended to rinse it lightly before filling the aquarium to remove any fine dust that may have accumulated during transport.
