A French press is designed to make tea or coffee. It is also often used to froth milk and create a thick froth (e.g., for cappuccino).

Using a French press is simple. When brewing tea, do not press the leaves too hard with the plunger, otherwise the tea will curdle.

When making coffee, use coarsely ground coffee to prevent the filter from clogging. Pour water over the coffee, stir lightly with a wooden spoon, and leave for 4 minutes.

To froth the milk, heat the milk, but do not boil it. Fill the container 1/3 full, and quickly raise and lower the plunger for about 30-60 seconds until the milk becomes thick froth.

The metal base protects the glass flask from impacts and also acts as a stand. It is recommended to wash the kettle by hand.
