It has 3 modes: off, cold, and hot. Water heats up in seconds, and the display shows the water temperature. It plugs into a power outlet.

The device does not turn on if there is no water or low current, and automatically shuts off heating if it overheats. The heating element is made of stainless steel, which is resistant to corrosion and scale.
